According to the ranking for 2023, previously announced by The Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), Turkey has once again secured a position in the top 3 countries with the highest number of Blue Flag beaches. Among the Turkish regions, Antalya takes the lead in both Blue Flag beaches and tourist boats.
This year Alanya Municipality were hosted the 2023 National Blue Flag Awards. Alanya Municipality continues its Blue Flag works in cooperation with the Foundation for Environmental Education in Turkey (TÜRÇEV) to increase attraction in tourism and protect nature. As a result of this work, 85 facilities in Alanya have received the Blue Flag – one of the world’s most recognized voluntary awards.
